Your eyelashes draw attention to your eyes, and many women spend much time and money on makeup or other products to make their lashes appear long and lush. Lash extensions and lash growth serums with Flawless Skin by Abby can provide long-term solutions to enhance your natural beauty with lash treatments.

What are lash extensions?

Lash extensions involve adhering small synthetic hairs to the root of your existing lashes to make your lashes appear thicker, fuller, and longer. Your unique look is completely customized to fit your eye shape and desired aesthetic. Lashes are strategically added to either give you natural wispy lashes, dramatic full lashes, or a thick, lush look.

How are lash extensions applied?

During your consultation you will work closely with our lash expert to determine the length and density of lashes to flatter your eye shape. The lashes are adhered to your existing lashes using a non-toxic, semi-permanent glue. Each lash is individually placed and glued for custom, precise application that looks natural. The entire set takes approximately two hours to complete.

How long will my lash extensions last?

When adhered properly, lash extensions can last for the entire lifecycle of the eyelash that it is applied to. Eyelashes naturally fall out and regrow, so it is generally recommended to have a touch-up every few weeks to maintain your look. You can also help them last longer by following our aftercare instructions, including:

  • Avoid touching your lash extensions
  • Do not use any mascara, particularly waterproof formulas that are difficult to remove
  • Avoid swimming, showering, or other water activities for 24 to 48 hours until the glue has set
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes

We will also provide aftercare instructions, including a list of products to avoid and other tips for maintaining your beautiful new lashes.

Lash Services—Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any alternatives to lash extensions?

Although lash extensions are the most popular lash service offered at Flawless Skin by Abby, other lash treatments can also enhance your eyes. Lash growth serums and lash tinting services enhance your natural eyelashes but you may be able to achieve more dramatic results in a shorter timeframe with lash extensions.

Do lash extensions hurt?

Not at all. The entire procedure is completely pain-free and comfortable. Although rare, a slight burning sensation could indicate an allergic reaction to the glue and you should speak up.

Can I still wear mascara after my lash services?

It is generally recommended that you refrain from using mascara after your lash extensions. The rubbing motion and ingredients used in makeup remover can negatively impact the extensions. With lash serums or lash tinting services, you can still wear mascara without a problem.

How much do your lash services cost?

The cost of our lash services in Abuja varies depending on the type of treatment that is best for you. We encourage you to call to speak with our experienced staff to find out more about our lash services and pricing: 0817-491-3220.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19 View Update

We have you covered

Dearest Clients,

We are aware of the current activity of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 in the region.

Flawless Skin BY Abby leadership team is actively monitoring the Coronavirus situation.

We recognize the seriousness of COVID-19 and, to be clear, our sole concern is for your safety and the safety of our team members. As healthcare professionals, above all else, we must always be vigilant regarding public health.

Based on available data, it appears that the virus is not particularly harmful to younger and otherwise healthy people. While it is still too early to gauge the broader impact the virus will have in the Nigeria, we know that the virus is very contagious and can be transmitted during an asymptomatic phase.

Accordingly, we would like to offer 10 universal community precautions that should be employed to mitigate viral spread:

  1. No handshaking and avoid crowded spaces if possible.
  2. Use your elbow or knuckle to press elevator buttons, light switches, etc. Lift the gasoline dispenser with a paper towel or disposable gloves.
  3. Open doors with a closed fist or hip if possible.
  4. Wash your hands regularly for 10-20 seconds and/or use a greater than 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer whenever you return home.
  5. If possible cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. Use your elbow only if you have to.
  6. High dose (1000mg) vitamin C and zinc lozenges have been shown to boost immunity and thwart the spread of the viral pathogens.
  7. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth.
  8. Should you decide to wear a mask, use one with a N95 designation and discard after one day.
  9. Practice other good health habits. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.
  10. If you are sick - stay home.

Additionally, we want to minimize the risk of transmission in our facility while continuing to deliver great experiences to you, our clients.

Our commitment has always been to provide a pristine environment for our clients. To further ensure we are delivering on that promise, we will implement and/or continue to employ the following measures over the coming weeks:

  • We are ordering protective eyewear and face masks for all client facing providers (aestheticians, MAs, RNs, PAs, NPs, and MDs). Gloves will continue to be used.
  • Viricidal disinfectant wipes will continue to be used to clean all treatment rooms and door handles before and after every procedure or service.
  • Our providers will continue to wash their hands before and after every procedure or service.
  • Lobby areas will be cleaned by the front desk every thirty minutes.
  • Our teams will reserve the right to refuse service to any clients who are actively experiencing cold or flu symptoms. Cancellation fees will be waived.
  • Any team members with active cold or flu symptoms will not to come to work.

In the face of this unique challenge it is imperative that we all work together to promote safety while still enjoying our lives. If you have any questions regarding our policies please do not hesitate to contact the office via email or any of our hotlines – 08174913220, 08183201854.
